Practicing Self-Discipline

Self-discipline requires a level of sacrifice that many aren't willing to stick to. There are two types of people in the world. There are those that are mediocre and are ok with a normal, mediocre life that allows them to survive. Then there are those select few that want more out of life and thrive on the notion that they can do extradorinary things in their lifetime. If you're reading this, more than likely, you're the second option.

In order to get something you've never had, you've got to do something you've never done. The you that you're striving to reach and achieve is going to take some work, and some self discpline to evolve into that man or woman. Self-discpline is deciding that you're going to stick to your goal, plan it out, and achieve it at all cost. No matter the amount of time it takes, the sacrifices needed, or pressures that arise, you're all in it to win it.

Self-discpline is hard. A lot of times, we want what we want, when we want it. However, self-displine isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. In creating this platform, we've had to be very self-discplined and sacrifice time with loved ones, sleep, and personal plans. We love what we do and the content that we create, but it's not easy. Self-discipline has allowd us to keep pushing forward, even when we're tired.

Although self-discipline is hard and can be challening, the reward is amazing. There's nothing better than knowing you achieved what you set out to because of your consistency and dedication.

1. Decide what it is you want to achieve.

Get a clear picture in your mind and pray over it until you can't pray anymore.

2. Write out a specific plan to acheive your goal.

Be as specific as possble and very detailed. No matter how "crazy" it may seem, write it down.

3. Put it into action.

Whatever you committed to doing, do it. This is the time to go all in.

Self-discpline is hard and it requires another level of you that will be challenged and tried. But if you can be discplined enough to invest in yourself and stick to your plan, it will pay off!

Be encouraged and know that you can do all things through Christ. You are equipped with everything you need to succeed, you've got this!
