Dealing With No's, Rejections & Closed Doors!

Being rejected doesn't mean you're not qualified for the job. Most of the time, it means you're just not ready. We've both had our share of rejections, no's and closed doors. Being rejected is one of the hardest things ever in life, because it interferes with your self-esteem and confidence. You can have all the talent in the world and be the right person for the job and still be told no. The hardest thing is to bounce back from multiple no's.

We're going to be honest, we both have found ourselves in a season of no's, rejections, and closed doors in our professional and personal lives. And to be honest, it's emotionally draining and tiring to be told no over and over again. However, the thing is, it's inevitable. You will be told no, doors will be closed in your face, and you will be rejected by opportunities, jobs, and people. It doesn't mean you're not good enough, it's just means it's not your time yet.

Here's the thing, many times we are rejected because we really aren't prepeared to receive what we've asked for. If you got your dream job, partner, or opportunity, do you have all the skills and knowledge to accep it and be really good at it? Do you have the skills for that dream job right now? Are you really prepared for Mr. Right and the commitment and sacrifice relationships take? For every no you receive, you are that much closer to yes. So keep going. Everyone who is great, has been told no, rejected and made to feel little. They paid their dues and we all have to pay ours.

But what makes you better is how you deal with rejection. You have two choices, you can talk about it or be about it. Those who talk, never go anywhere. Those who are about it - reach that level of success that many dream of. In this season of no's and waiting, use it to be better. Train, study, and continue to invest in yourself. You are the only person who can determine your fate. Nothing will ever be handed to you, you're going to have to work at it and take it.

Keep working and grinding, someone you don't even know is watching you and will allow you to have the oppurtunity of a lifetime. If you do your part, God will do his part and manifest your dreams and passions. Keep going, keep getting up and keep persevering. You were made for a time as this. No matter what - get up, show up, and boss up!
